JK,Do you mean "Interlocking firebases" ? If so,what specs do you want? I don't think they're were any hard & fast "blueprints" for size, placement of defensive positions,I.E.barbed or concertina, machine gun crossfires,Etc.Each one looked differant & had Differant arty pieces & nunbers. Some had short runways, while others just helo pads. The general idea was that each 1 could cover other ones & vice versa.I only spent 4 yrs. in the "  Corps ",And was never attached to any " Red leg " units.Try e'mailing Heavy Arty,If anyone would know,he will.    Semper fi,   Rudedog

Not quite, there were aluminum platforms that were helo dropped in rice paddies and other shallow waters for temp firebases, they didn't really float. I saw them but my memories sre hazzy and I wanted a heads up on the demensions.

Hey, jkuncl--  Try this search engine, SearchMil.com   .  It's a search engine for all things military.  You just might find what you're looking for.  Good luck.
