I'm not really into boats as a rule but WOW! the sea is superb as is the rest. A crew would really set this model off.

Thanks for posting them. I might try a U-boat next.

You spelled "Boat" wrong on the the baseplate. But other than that, it looks really cool. I have been thinking of doing a U-Boat. How difficult was this kit? Good job.
Yes, I was kidding about the spelling.

hi  m60a3

the kit itself is a really nice and easy kit to do the only thing that bothered me was cutting some of it off! then it was trial and error with the water as never done nothing like that before

cheers

looks really good. I've actually just purchased this kit...(can't resist U-boats).. and i'm just wondering if you or anyone else has seen any interior detailing kits for this model. It would be so nice if I could remove the deck to reveal a fully detailed interior, mabye even with figures at their stations! Anyone seen kits like this? I've looked around but with no luck. The only thing that I can find is bridge figures. Thanks ahead!

Nicely done. Definatley a showcase piece.

Scheislos, I think one of the best dioramas I've seen of a U-boat was one that portrayed it breaking through some heavy seas, much like the u-boats in your avatar. The guy spent something like 300 hours on the water alone but man was it worth it.
