Thanks for the reference stuff.  It's helped me some.  I've used a paint scheme that is somewhat fictional.  I don't want the vehicle to portray a specific vehicle or unit.  It still looks plausible but anyone with knowledge about these things can tell.

Could make it look like the LVT ran up the seawall and got knocked out while stuck on it with the jap position in front or to the side.

I'm working on a scene with a knocked out Marine LVT(A)-1 and  its crew taking a breather.  Its an after action kinda thing.  There is also a Japanese fighting position that has been destroyed.  I have yet to really get into this part because I have no idea what a shoreline fighting position would be like.  This is to be early in the Island Hopping and the position is along a sea wall.  Any ideas?
