Vietnam-dio in progress
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 14, 2003 1:45 PM
Hi all,
I added some new pictures of my diorama in progress (okay okay; I know progress is slow but still it's progress)
Most of the house and base has been painted and weathered, I also added the pavement on the other side of the road (I lengthened the base); this is where some 'telegraph-poles' are planned. Next thing to do will be the doors and windows of the house.

Hope you like it sofar

Very impressive so far. Next to last picture looks like a view down a real street.

The building is simply fantastic! Are you scratchbuilding it? The architecture could be used in any far eastern country. I'd sure like to have details on how you are constructing it. If you give up on it (fat chance) call me!

Thanks guys for your reactions.
The house and base are scratchbuild using (plaster covered) foam-carton, plastic strip, wood and pe (balconies, from Scale Line). It's really not that hard, it's just takes (an awful lot of) time!

giving up on it? sorry, it might take me (light) years but I'm gonna finish this one (I know, I know there's still a lot to do; vehicles, figures, water, boats etc etc)

kind regards
Mark
