Between the google images and corbis, I've got enough solid pics to keep me busy with dios for the next five years.

I was in Kosovo  2003-2004. I took lots of photos of the countryside and cities. I will digout the photo albumn. Once I get the albumn out I will get in touch with you to see if you still need the photos.

As stated above, just google it. Some of the links provided for you will give you an impression. Google Serbian army, serbian weapons, Serbian, Yugoslavian, Croatian country side, village, farm, and so on. There are thousands of images available online. One correction, the terrain is green. There are low and high hills everywhere, but they are covered by thick forrest, and if not, then some kind of vegetation. It is not a desert, nor is it a cold climate. The country is just north of the Mediterranean so it is lush with wildlife and foliage.

Well that puts u right about my age right? Or a year younger I guess, Im 17. Thanks for the info, I know Tamiya makes a little farmyard animal set I saw somewhere, but sculpting chickens from magic sculpt sounds kinda fun. Hilly, rocky, stone houses in the winter with some homeless cold chickens haha sound good

They have chickens running around on the streets.  I am not joking.  Lots of mountains.  I was over in Debrovnic(sp?) when I was 10 (2000-2001, I was there for New Years).

psstoff995,

I replied to this in the figure forum, so if you read that post, please disregard this one, as it is a cut & paste from that reply......

Here is one link with some decent photos: http://www.pbase.com/stefan_serb/weapons this site has one or two decent action pictures, but the others are kind of sad in that I have a friend who was there, and it's just....sad.. http://www.digitaljournalist.org/issue0407/richards.html. Here is another one for you www.defenselink.mil it has a few winter scenes as well.

If you google "Serbian Croat war Photos" a bunch of stuff comes up, I'd try to google it under images as well, only type in "Croatian soldiers" and then "Serbian soldiers". Alot of stuff comes up then. It's all mixed up with pics from WWI, but there are definately photos from the Civil war in the 90's there.

Also, try Corbis http://pro.corbis.com/ they have a fantastic base of photos. You have to register (it's free) to view and print photos without there being a watermark on them, but it is worth the time. Just go to Corbis and type in "Battle of Stalingrad", and look at the quality of the pictures that comes back. TONS of WWII pics.

My father went to Bosnia/Croatia/Kosovo several times and all the pictures I've seen was very rocky mountains with small villages.  Looks almost like scene from the movie Patton (invasion of sicily).

I have a BTR 80 and I was thinking of integrating it into the KFOR. But I was aloso thinkin of putting it in some kind of winter ambush dio. What kind of camo did the serbs wear? And was there ever any winter camo? I'm assuming they'd have the whole skimask look goin, but I cant find any pictures online for.. well anything really. They'd be armed with more or less standard soviet wepons? (ps I'm pretty sure there was some winter (or snow at least) fighting going on durring the coflict, if not please correct me, but if so what kind of terrain would I be looking at? Most was urban, but I dont know if the winter fighting took place in the cities or more fields)
