Thanks Comet, I have done the groundwork for both bases, I just need to paint them.
I managed to get a few hours this week to myself so I have worked on the vehicles too. The Chevy is built, and the Tiger is half built, I messed up the wheel assembly and had to start again! (I'm an aircraft builder-I know nothing about armour!)

I plan to make a start on the figures soon, hopefully I will do a half decent job on them.

Pics to follow soon.

Darren.

Hello again,

after my last effort, you guys have encouraged me to try some more so I will attempt a couple of desert diorama's. Both will based on the WWII desert campain.
First, a Tiger I rumbling over a tough rocky dersert track, with troops walking along side to the front. I have some VP North Afica road signs, so I may have one of those included in the scene, I'll see how it looks when it all comes together.

Second, is one I've wanted to do for quite some time after seeing Sasd's LRDP diorama, it featured a British Chevy truck pearched on top of a high sandbank. It was a superb dio which I dearly wish to attepmt for myself, not a scene for scene copy-I don't have the skill or imagination for that! Just something along the same lines, using what I have described as inspiration. (Hope you don't mind Sasd!)

Anyhoo, work starts tonight on the bases and vehicles. I'll let you know how I get on.

Darren.
