Nice to see a good Kiwi crew in there! What's Josef Stalin doing there, though? <G> Great work with the figures, and don't get hung up about the tyres, the desert was rocky, as well as sandy. I doubt that they'd have stopped at the top of a sand dune, since they learnt that to get over them, they hit them at full speed.

Excellent, especially the angle of the truck. very realistic. as someone else posted, normally dios are flat but this is really 3D and brings it all to life. Great work.

Thank you for your kind words guys, I really appreaciate it. I did'nt consider the weight of the vehicle on the sand, it might look better if I could add a small amount of sand around the wheels. I'll see what I can do about that.

Thanks again for your comments,

Darren.

Fantastic work. Nice detail work on the vehicle, and the figures are well painted. Facial hair is hard to pull off. Great job.

Excellent Darren,very nice work indeed.

The 3rd picture even look's like you've got a desert sunset theme going on.

First up, I hate to critesize, especially because I wouldn't dare to show anything I done on a forum.

Second, I do like the dio very much. Good built and fine set-up, but....and here it comes... a heavy loaded truck on that type of terrain, wouldn't one expect the tyres to be dug in a little bit?

Just my My 2 cents [2c]

Cheers,

Luc

I really like the dowhhill attitude of the vehicle. Usually all you see is flat terrain or maybe something positioned uphill. Nice work!

Hi EveryoneSmile [:)]

here is my British Long Range Desert Patrol dio. I used the Tamiya Chevy and a mix of Hornet/Verlinden figures. I've had great fun with this one and like to think that perhaps I have improved a little. Well, I'll let you be the judge of that. Here are some pics-feel free to say what you think good or bad.

Darren.
