Arrangement on the vinette
Posted by dj898 on Saturday, December 9, 2006 5:01 AM

Due to missus request I'm converting this little kit I was building into the vinette.

Since the base itself is rather big - it was originally designed for Bandai's UC HardGraph Ramba Ral set  - I'm bit lost what would be the best way for the arrangement.

Should I add few more items - i.e. a figure or two or bike or etc.?

Or move them more in the middle?

TIA

Unless you're under deadline, bases are cheap. Go to Michael's or AC Moore and pick up a smaller base for a dollar or so in the decoupage section and save this base for the kit you want.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

First thing i do with a scene is to design it so that the characters are doing something.  What are these people doing?  Once  you decide what they are doing then you bring in materials to support that activity.  This scene does have a lot of empty space. a smaller base might be the thing to do.

yes time is what I don't have.

I will need to post it in few days.

My idea is they stop at the intersection and lost way and the office is standing to figure out - there will be a map and binocular later on - while others looking at the direction he was looking at...

Or I could put the another vehicle from my collection dusted off as if they met at the intersection and couldn't decide who need to back off... though this mean I will need to build at least two more figures - one officer and one soldier...

well that's the idea anyway...

alright I will drop and see what they have at the local hardware store - they often carry the wooded craft base...
