                        Here u can see my new "Snow-Patrol" Diorama. Its not rdy, but 95% are finish!

                        It plays at Eastfront,  December 1943..

                        Great job on the snow,and on the figures. The tank should be there for some time since there are not track marks on the snow. What the guy alone is doing in the rear of the tank? The trees in my opinion look better also with some snow. Great work,but I think the dio area is too big for the scene,my opinion. Pedro

                        Nice job...you did a good job making it look cold Smile [:)]  Good idea using a coin for scale... only thing is i'm unfamiliar with your currency Confused [%-)]  Do you know how that would compare to a US penny?  About the same size I'm guessing.  

                        One thing that jumped out at me on the fist photo was that the tank is dead center.  Off center would help to add a little more visual drama.  Aside from that I really like the fact that stuff has a "frosty" look.  Very nice.

                        I agree with Madspaniard, the base is way too large for the scene, too much dead space. The prone guy is confusing. Can't tell if he's German or Russian from the pics. I know you said he's injured, but he just doesn't fit in. A good dio should tell the story without having to explain any details you've added. Nice use of tracks behind the walking guys.

                        Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

                        Actually I like the vast space.  You get a sense of isolation, which is what these guys probably felt.

                        very nice. The guy behind the tank can be seen to be injured. it looks like there is a blood trail leading to where he is laying. close ups may show in better detail. i also like the size of the base. it does look empty, but i think it adds the feeling as mentioned before of being outside in the snow and being lonely. the few winter dioramas i have seen have reminded me of christmas nativity scenes as there is so much in a small space, but this one looks like an empty winter wasteland which i think is quite cool.

                        That looks really nice. The base is too big for only three figures and a tank though. If you filled up the space with the remains of a building or added some more figures it would be perfect.

                        The Diorama should give the feeling of cold and lonely. That's why it's at large and there are so few things on it.

                        Very nice, i just finished modelling a winter scene in 1/144 of a Nashorn and crew taking a breather. What did you use for snow? And how did you apply it?

                        Das ist so klein! Es ist auch sehr gut. Dein Englisch is ganz toll. Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut. Wie sagt man "diorama" auf Deutsch?

                        For those of you who don't speak German:

                        That is so small! It is also very good. You're English is awesome . My German is not so good. How does one say "diorama" in German?

                        Passio,

                        Count me in with the group that likes the size of your dio.  I think it does do a nice job of conveying a sense of desolation and isolation.  You can also count me in with those who think that having the tank in the center of the dio gives it too much... symetry.  I would move it off center a little bit.

                        Otherwise, I think it looks really nice, and when you factor in the scale... WOW!! Pretty eye popping.  Nicely dones
