Outstanding model. I love the detail in your work. Is the cop trying to bust those rat-rodders?

What do you use for your base? Is that insulation foam?

I love it! I've always wanted to do something like this. Is it 1/87 scale or larger? I recognize some of the cars from my growing collection of 1/87 stuff. Nice job, DaveThumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Thanks!

Its 1/87 scale.

The base is made from high density polyurethane foam. It's used for sandblasted signs. It comes in different thicknesses and densitys. Its really nice to work with. It cuts and carves really easy, takes paint well. I found Gorilla glue holds it the best. I got it from a sign supply company. The company that makes it uses damaged sheets to protect the good sheets during shipping. Since it has dents and scratches in it and often broken edges they throw it out. Gotta love the free stuff!

Very nice dio! Since a printing company is front and center I must ask if you are a printer in real life? I am, so I notice stuff like that right away!

So long folks!

Bgrigg, in 'real life' I'm a model finisher. Honest, thats my job title. I worked in a couple print shops at one point in my life. I also worked in a hobby shop part time. The print shop where I worked didn't pay enough to sustain life.
