Suspending an F-86?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 29, 2007 6:58 PM
I am currently planning a Korean War diorama for my father who served there in a Sherman. Above the resupplying of the tanks by several support vehicles I am building, I wanted to have an F-86 flying over on its way back to base. The Sabre is in 1/72 scale over the 1/35 vehicles to help with the perspective. My problem is that I don't want to suspend the Sabre, but have it mounted from the base, but mounted on a wire just doesn't cut it. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

Have you considered using clear acrylic rod?
