Hey R.D.,   from what I remember Beirut Airport was the flat ground and as soon as you started inland you were going up-hill.

(spelling)port of Haifa,Isreal, was sea-level then barely inland get on a trolley/subway/lift and ride..Up.. the hills.

No, you misunderstood me.  Legend is pretty good.  I have heard nothing but good about their stuff.  AEF Designs is another story.  Al went pretty easy on them.  I stay as far away from AEF as I can.

I have several Legend items and tehy seem to be quite good. Instructions are not as clear as typical kits but are adequate. AEF is the company to watch out for. I've often described them as a good resource for scratchbuilding a conversion. My reference books show the mountains in this area to get cold and snowy as well.

(Now if we could get you to cross the river for a Sign - Welcome [#welcome] meeting or two, some first Wednesday, you'd have access to much of this info quite easily. Big Smile [:D])

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Thanks Gino,Ill keep that in mind.I've bought 3 books on Israel. 1 on MBT' & AFV's,another on uniforms & The military history 48-73. Two more current milhist. Both  on bo.Am I correct in you saying you didn't carefor Legend stuff ? I ask Because them & Blast seem to have the most thoroug selection of figures, accesories & much needed conversions [ not too many companies do IDF stuff.Well thanks for your lanscaping info.   Semper fi  ,Rudedog

Depends on which part.  Near the coast it is pretty flat.  As you move inland, it can get quite mountainous, hence the Golan Heights.
