Diorama idea-clarification

Just a simple question for a diorama idea.

Hopefully this is not too stupid of a question:

Did the German use early tigers I's in the Ardennes offensive?

I like to depict an early tiger with late german figures (Tamiya field briefing figure kit)  Confused [%-)]

The only Tiger Is to serve in operation Wacht am Rhein were those of Panzer Abteilung 301 (Funklenk), which were all late model Tiger Is and those of the 4th company of sPzAbt. 506, (formerly known as Panzer Company Hummel), which were rebuilt wrecks, generally with early turrets on rebuilt hulls with late-model running gear. The total number of Tiger Is was only about 22 serviceable vehicles, depending on which sources you are referencing. No early model Tigers would be available at this late stage of the war.
