The Littlest Diorama

Anybody ever try this?  I've always loved Roco Minitanks HO (1/87) armor models.  I ran across a box of them I've had for years, and put together this grouping from my army days (late 1970s).  It's an M-151 jeep with an officer and radioman.  Ever tried to paint a camo scheme on a helmet the size of a bb?  Anyway, it was quick and fun, and I thought I'd share the results.  I've got a bunch more of these tanks and figures, might try a few more of these mini-displays.

Pretty good for that small of a scale.  You may want to tone down the jeep a little with some dusting and weathering, it looks too bright.  By the way, it is an M38A1 jeep, not an M151A1.  Good job.

Hey that's the same wooden base in my, and same scale and jeep, except I added bushes but my focus is really bad. I'll sent it to you as soon as I get it good.

Also what kit did to soliders came from? I could use them instead of one dollar soldier.

The figures are from Roco Minitanks as well.  They come in sets of 20 or so.  I bought them almost 20 years ago.  A quick look at Ebay shows that they're still available.  Good luck.

Nice job. HO scale is fun, there's so much stuff available. I've been building in HO scale for a while. (Non Military and no trains yet) I really enjoy it. A small diorama is a great way to take a break from a big project and do some experimenting. Peanut butter lids are really fun dioramas.
