The best thing to make molds is RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) latex rubber.  Good hobby shops and craft stores carry it.  Alumalite is carried here in the states at Hobby Lobby.  Vagabond is also a great product, but is only available by mail order.  A 16 oz container of RTV costs about $30.  Alumalite has a starter set that has a small container of RTV (4 oz) and a couple bottles of resin (about 6oz ea.) for about $30 as well.
