I thought I saw on there that they were 1/32.

The only thing I could think of is using small pieces of masking tape and forming the harness and then modify a field pack and then have the strings coming out of that. Or, I was reading that at St. Mereglise, pardon the spelling, the 82nd AB were coming down with there thompsons firing and didn't give anyting if they were landing over here or over there as long as they wern't dead, that might make it easier if you don't have to have th Para holding the lines.

Parachute canopy is not that difficult to make, but harnesses and other goodies that comes with  the chute probably is going to be difficult.  Besides, I'm not a sculptor so I probably will not be able to convert figures in such way that they are posed as if they are attached to chutes.

If you have any references or "HOW TO" information, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I jsut had this incredible image ot toes just touching down, so the chute would still be fully inflated, which would have all kinds of good dramatic angles into it for a dio.

Then, I had a mental image of a deployment bag hitting, its strap still taut (in wire) to hold the para off the surface for even more drama (especially when the cat knocks such fragility over . . . <g>)

I don't see the scale on those figures.  Anyway, you both are right.  looks like those kits are over priced toys.  However, I really like those paratroopers with deployed parachutes.  Is there any 1/35 scale kits that comes with parachutes open?

They look O.K. to me.  Detail looks soft, probably due to being metal figures.  What scale are they.  They look like 25mm, or Wargamer scale to me.  Way too overpriced as well.  I'll stick to making my own.

Pretty darned expensive for toy soldiers. On any given day, you can see figures on this, or any other modeling site, that are painted to a much higher standard. There are several companies offering higher quality painted figures at a much lower cost.

I didn't know anything like this existed until now.  Looks great, but pricey.  they even offer U.S. paratroopers with parachutes.
