Dude I LOVE IT. Im totally into 1/72-1/76 scale. I do some 1/144 because I have an N-scale layout and Im doing it up late/post WW2. How old are you? Man you got some real talent. Im 17 and Ive been modelling for about 4 years now and I dunno if I can compare my stuff to yours. Ive posted some of my work but havent made much really worth posting. Great diorama and like its been said the card players in the shack are a great touch. Definately an interesting dio that keeps you lookin.

Impressive dio, especially for being 1:72. Love the 109 and rest of the scene works nicely. One to be proud of.

Hi Mattcooke, its me again, just want to add some more comments on the scene.

You should called the scene a name that way you can metting it again in shorter words, also the plane is fantastic, by placing a fiqure with a action (like the one removing the cloth on the plane propeller) your making the viewers interested in the fine job on the cloth, good idea. There seems to be a decal on the balsa building, what is it and what does it say?

You did a excelent job on the scene and the model very good, mine can be as good aas that just not as accurate, you always need to make sure that all the vehicule, fiqures, buildings and scene maches the place, year event and time (winter-snow).

Keep up the good work.

Working on: Trumpeter SU-152 (1/35) Trumpeter E-10 (1/35) Heller Somua (1/35)

This is very well done. I love the look of that protective tarp being pulled off the propeller blades.

Overall, this looks very good. Those Preiser figures have held up quite well, considering they are over 30 years old. I don't see any serious construction issues, the layout works nicely. I really like the open back shed.the card players add a neat little human touch here.

Were the gun pods in two pieces? The one under the right wing looks like there might be an alignment problem. Might also be the casting or just the lighting.

The tracks from the Schwimmwagen look a bit heavy to me for a light vehicle to have driven over the grass just the one time.

One thing I've learned about the Bf-109 from judging these many years, is there should be a panel line running from the canopy to the tail at the middle of the spine. A lot of builders assume this is a seam line that needs correcting. Because of the general confusion about this, I don't penalize a filled line there, but you might want to take note for future reference.

Again, a very good job that shows a lot of promise for you as a builder.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

My first diorama

Hi guys,

M1Garand said I should put this in the Diorama forum as well so here it is.

Hi guys,

I finally finished my first diorama. This diorama contains a Bf 109G-6 of Fw. Fritz Ungar.I really had alot of fun building this diorama and I hope that you guys enjoy it too. :) Now on to the specifics of the diorama.
The Bf 109G-6 is the Hasegawa 1/72 Bf 109G-6.The decals are Eaglecal. The Schwimmwagen is from the Academy set with the fuel truck. All of the figures are from Preiser. The tree and the shed are scratchbuilt. The tree is made from wire and some vegetation I bought and the shed is made from balsa wood.

Well hope you enjoyed all the pics and my work.It took me a while to build this diorama but I finally got there. Thanks to everyone who helped me.If you have any suggestions, please give them to me.I'm still learning and I would like to build more dioramas in the future.

Daniel :D
