Diorama vs Vignette
Posted by Brumbles on Saturday, June 16, 2007 1:42 PM

How do y'all define the difference between a "diorama" and a "vignette"?  Some people say no figures = vignette, as an example.  We were discussing this at my model building club this week.

Personally, I think up to three figures and one vehicle makes it a vignette, and it doesn't necessarily have to tell a story... but more than that, and it's a diorama.  Story-telling is implied!

I believe if there is a vehicle in it it is a dio; also, more than 3-4 figs is a dio...
