VacumFormed models are model that are made by making a mold which heated plastic is presses down on with the vacume creating the suction to form the plastic tight into the curves etc. of the mold. Very nice way to make your own winsheilds, bubble canopys etc....

cheers!

Hard to tell from the catalog picture--but, likely the base is one piece of vacuformed plastic in the general shape shown.  To that, you probably afix the bridge and the panzer and trailer, and then paint & detail it however you want.

What I can't tell from that picture is whether or not the location of the tank & trailer are 'cast' into the vacform or not.  That's good and bad.  Good in that you have a little less detailing to get the dio started.  Bad, in that you are a bit at the mercy of the vacuforming process for how things fit, and you can't adjust things if you had another kit or element you wanted to include or the like.

my guess is that the base is vacuformed and the rest of the items are kits that you would have to build and place on the base, after you painted it, etc...
