...american helmet and a M-10 fuzil.

Do you mean a modern Kevlar helmet?

What is an M-10 fuzil??

Maybe he means an M-5 carbine. I don't think his native language is necessarily English, so it may have gotten lost in the translation/translator.

Also, what scale are you looking for (I'm assuming 1/35th)?

O.K, you got me.  What is an M-5 Carbine then?  I have heard of an M4 Carbine, but not an M-5.

That is called me going senile in my old age. You are of course correct in correcting my error. This is all the more embarrassing as a I have a class 3 FFL, and have a Colt M-4 Carbine in my collection. Oops, we all have brain farts occasionally.

Hmm, the "F" in FAL is Fuzile or Fusille, isn't it?  Which is causing me to remember Ezell that it's rifle rather than carbine (gewehr rather than karabine).  Ah, yes, rifle is likely it as the shorty FAL is a CAL, IIRC.

Now, we just need to know what the "-10" is . . .

If a person was using a weapon reference in French, I'm wondering if the AR-10 is being confused with the M-16 thorugh the magic of fingers tired from long  computing.

Depends on which "modern" OP means, too.  KW different than VN different than 80s than 90s to "nows" <g>.  Hopefully, he'll get back to us to steer us straight.

Yes,  FN FAL translates to "Fabrique Nationale Fusil Automatique Leger"  or " FN Light Automatic Rifle". Other than some lesser equipped nations, not too popular these days (certainly was in the 50's through the late 80's in it's various incarnations). Way too big and long for rapid deployment and urban warfare in this day and age.

He could be referencing the ArmaLite AR-10 rifle, either intentionally or not, but I doubt it. Not a commonly found rifle among many nations.

I guess he needs to chime in here if he wants those parts!

Ok, I am sorry for the wrong number: 16 is the right number. Forget about M-10, I meant M-16. And the scale is 1:35 and the helmet is modern Kevlar helmet. Now you guys believe that my very first interesting is WWII rather than modern war! Just one more mistake, the tank is Brazilian, not a American. (hahaha)

Thanks for all you guys!!!

If you are looking to add these accessories to the Brazilian tank, which I assuming is the Trumpeter Osorio, the Kevlar is fine since Brazil uses them.  They do not use M-16s though.  The standard rifles of the Brazilian Army is a license-built version of the FN FAL called the M964, a folding stock Paratrooper version known as the M964A1, and a rechambered to 5.56mm version called the MD97.  They look like this:

"Brazilian M964 - another license built FN FAL, one of few FAL models still in production now"

M964A1 Para

The only FN FAL that I know of in 1/35 is in the old Italeri Modern Weapons set.  Sorry, I don't have any.

On another note, the Osorio was never put into service and was only experimental.  The main battle tanks of Brazil are the German-built Leopard 1A1, and US M60A3.  They are replacing these with the Leopard 1A5 which has been ordered and not yet fielded.

Others have said it, but Gino, you the MAN!

Did you have to look this up, or was it on the tip of your tongue?

I had to do an intel estimate on the Brazilian Army for a class a while ago.  So I remembered most of it.  My wife does say at times that I am a fount of useless knowledge though.

Wait a minute.

The M-10 Fuzil is really an M16, which should be replaced by an FN FAL, and the American tank is now a Brazilian tank, which is really a German tank?
