Anyone build any of these items?

I know the temples are gold-plated plastic -- and how do you remove that plating so they can be painted more accurately? How much extra work is needed to undo the "empty shell" look?

Chlorine bleach and a toothbrush is all I have ever used but there might be better methods out there. Try doing a search under "chrome removal" in the Painting and Airbrushing section.

I found the Golden Pavilion with instructions and sprue pics -- it's a larger version of the gold-plated model of a few years back.

Appears to have a rather complete interior.
