D-Day-

http://www.greatmodels.com/

type in "DML 101st Airborne" and then "82nd Airborne"

You should get about 12-14 results.

Thats all I could find. Good luck.

In 1/35 plastic there are three sets with the proper uniform worn during Normandy:one by Dragon/DML, One by Master Box, and one by Italeri. There are resin figures of US Paratroopers from many manufacturers in 1/35, especially Verlinden and Warriors. Just remember that during Overlord, US Paras wore the M1942 Jumps uit that was a khaki olive in color, not the later olive green M-1943. Those were not issued to the Airborne until Market Garden. Glider Troops wore the "leg" uniform of M1941 filed jacket, wool trousers, leggings and shoes during Overlord. They would not get the same uniform and boots as the parachute units until Market Garden also.

You won't find one in 1/35, if your willing to go to 1/72nd, there is the Italeri Waco Glider.

I vaguely remember someone like Trumpeter announcing a Horsa glider in 1/32 scale last year. But it seems to have disappeared. If it does happen to come back they were used along with Waco's during Normandy.

What scale are you planning your diorama to be?
