looks really good with the large rocks, and i like the painting of the figures and tank. perhaps you should mention what is happening in the diorama, as it isn't clear if they are just resting or the commander is surveying the land etc, as the positioning of the figures doesn't make it so clear (commander and man by the turret looking alert, whilst the two others looking tired and despondant)

That is sooooo wierd. Because I have a 1/72 dio with almost the exact same layout except without figures. Ill post pictures tomorrow if I can remember.

The tank and figures are nicely modelled. I like it a lot, even though armour (especially German armour) isn't my thing. That said, I've always had a soft spot for the Panzer III & IV.

Unfortunately, the rocks don't look at all realistic. They look like painted blobs of plaster, though I like the way you have blended colours & shades and used drybrushing. If you can add some more realistic structure to the rocks, then paint them the same way, they'll look much better. I have to admit though, that others may not notice this point; I am a geologist, so it caught my eye immediately.

Lastly, I'd recommend that the rollers on the tank look more dusty. The scene suggests a very dry, dusty setting, yet the tracks rollers look like they've just been through a car wash.

Very nice. I do enjoy Art Instructor's work the most among your team of builders.

The figures are nicely done. The skin tones especially.

The Pz. IV could use a bit of a dusting but looks great none-the-less.

One comment and one question.

Nasty looking sink marks on the headlamps.

I'm no tank expert, but I've always wondered: since this type of tank is front drive, and is moving, wouldn't the tracks be tight from the last point of contact with the ground, i.e. the rearmost roadwheel, up and around the top to the front drive sprocket? If this tank is stopped, then the treads would bunch up and hang as shown.

You might try rock molds; these are a nice scale and placement though.

Thanks, Bill

Great job in my opinion, the scenery and the figures are top,the tank I think it could be with a little more dust.I like it a lot.

Many thanks for your kind comments, compliments and suggestions! I really appreciate them and I'll pass on some useful comments to AI esp. the ones concerning rocks, tracks and wheels.

I really liked the position between the rocks, it made it seem like there was a place to go to.
