...and keep the top of the leaves pointing up.  Top and bottom color of leaves can be quite different...don't want to stand out like an upsidedown bush.

The most common method used by the Germans to attach foliage to their vehicles was with wire. Crews would string wire from tie-down loops, lifting hooks, or any other protrusion available, forming loose, net-like patterns around the vehicle. Foliage was then draped over the wires so that the branches would snag on the wire and hang down vertically. Camo nets were also used in a similar manner, but they weren't as common. Careful placement was necessary to avoid obstructing weapons, vision ports, gun sights, turret movement, etc.

Fixing folage to a weathered Panzer IV: Over or Under

I have done my wash and now want to fix brush camo to my Panzer IV.  Should I fix camo netting with glue and then sent the brush ON top or put the brush UNDER the camo netting?  Do I need netting at all?  Either way, should I spray with adhesive glue and then spray with dull coat?
