1:72 is quite small so here´s what I´d do-
I´d try to find some fine roots from a tree (these can be used as branches in dio´s) and use those. However, if you live in the city this can be quite difficult.
You might want to try fine steel wool and paint it.

If you want leaves you could try fine, coloured sawdust or even spices, like oregano and such.

For longer grass you could use hemp rope.
Experiment a lot.

just try to gather some small sticks and twigs outside. unless you live in some places of arizona you should be ok. just use some elmer's type white glue to fix it on there, use pictures from books or the web for ref.

good luck,

Since my splinter camo painting isnt working, Sad [:(] I decided to turn to something alittle easier.... so I will be doing my first ever 1:72 dio Shy [8)] , and first thing i need to pester yall about is what I would use to make like tree branches and grass and leaves and stuff like that hanging off of my models??? It would be the gun barrel of a panther or PzKpfw IV G or J model, and a hanomag SdKfz 251/1 D. Must be 1:72 scale, and look real and proportionate. Thank you for your help. Smile [:)]
