Hey, I am pretty sure there are no tanks in 1/144 scale, if there are you might try browsing internet hobbies (link top right of screen) I might be wrong, but I think a 1/144 Destroyer might be alittle on the big side... youd better make sure you have room... but then agian I dont like to do ships very much so I dont know exactly how big it is... I am thinking back 3 years to my USS Missouri model... Dunce [D)] I usually have a pretty good memory. Someone let me know if i am wrong about the ship model.

Hi fussionboy's nephew. I am not sure about the availability of tank kits in that scale but I do know that Dragon has come up with a number of 1:144 modern aircraf kits. If you really want to mix tanks and aircrafts then your next choice would probably be 1:72 because of the already available tank and aircraft kits in the market.

First try to choose a main theme or idea for your dio. From that point you try to think of the details probably shrinking it down a little bit to a manageable size. If it's your first, then I would suggest you keep it simple first and you can just make bigger (more complicated) ones as your skills progress and your budget increases.

Good luck.

Fussionboy, good to see another youngun getting into bulding. I don't think there is any armor in 1:144 either. GHQ Miniatures makes several in 1/285 and 1/287. That is as far as I know though so i may be wrong. 1/35 is great for making dios and stuff to do it are readliy available. Alot of what you can use is real cheap, get it free right out of your back yard or things laying around the house. We could give alot better answers though if you came up with more detail on what you want to do as dios area broad subject. Welcome to the forum and look forward to helping ou.

First off I think it´ll be difficult to find any vehicles and tanks in that scale(1:144).
Most tank kits are in 1:35 which is a fairly easy scale to do dio´s in.
Tell us a bit more about what you are trying to do. Do you have an idea?
If you don´t and just want to build a dio of something I´d suggest picking up a cheap 1:35 tank with a couple of figures and start from there.
