I think your German is in for a surprise

I dropped a figure into my water and he did just fine, I think it will work fine. If you are really concerned  heat it up and see if some sprue warps, but my guy did fine. JUST make sure you let it cool slightly {not bubbling} when you pour it and do use the amount they suggest {1/8th inch deep? 1/4 inch? don't remember}

I put the water one too thick and it ended up with a lip at the edge of my pond. I scraped it so I cannot post a picture. IF you have a paint HEAT GUN you can re-heat the ez-water 

I look forward to your mini diorama, and have motivated me to build a small one in 1/48 using that watercooled machinegun that comes with the American set.

Just looked at your pictures again VERY good so far, as for the bridge, if worse comes to worse, get some cheap chopsticks and build the bridge using them but I don't think the ez-water should not give a problem, remember the stuff is meant to be used with RR stuff and they use plastic for bridges and other goodies too.

Oh, forgot to tell what I've been using...

As for the base, I used oasis (Found on nearly ANY flowershops, those green bricks that are jolly fun to squeeze), ordinary plaster, airbrush, and Citadel modelling sand and Glade Gras.

If you go for the same technique, remember to soak the oasis in water before applying plaster. If not, the oasis will suck away all the water in the plaster and the plaster dries almost instantly...

Ok, way to much water and it got just weird.. Need to start a new one.. I will start on a new one with water when I learn more about it ;)

But I'm doing another small dio instead now. I edited the first post with one picture. Do you think it looks nice? Any details I could add?

they have other E-z Water in wich you dont need to heat, comes in a already liquid form and drys like glue and looks the same, forgot the exact name but you can find it at almost any hobby store.
