Ive seen these plants and  in my opinion they are the photo etch ones that i have seen in a few modelling mags . i will try and dig out the details but wont be easy as i have hundreds of mags to look through. probably be the last one i pick up.

Yeah, been curious about the Kamizukuri paper PE... though not quite enough to spend that kinda dough. I'll wait until some "fall in my lap".

Those are som impressive results with the "Texas Weed".  A couple of those Kamizukuri looks pretty good for PE foliage too.  Thanks for the ideas, Steve.

My first impression is one of two things: either real weeds from the backyard (I've found some here in Austin that look similar to this- real leaves at that scale, need to be reworked a bit) OR maybe a product like Kamizukuri- would also seem it was reworked (see Rose).

Here's something I did with that Texas weed I mentioned:

Jsut my first couple of guesses.

I found these pictures from "Best of Show" from the IPMS open on armorama.  In my opinion, these are some of the best done saplings I have seen.  The leaves are a bit sparce, but I think it look sfine for an early spring diorama.

So, if anyone has any clue what product he used for the leaves, or products that produce the same effect, I'd love to know.  Thanks.
