This is my first attempt at a true diorama...I have done some small vignettes but this was a first.  I used all quarter scale kits and accessories-- including the Tamiya T-34 and Panzer III Ausf. L...as well as German and Soviet Infantry figures.  Thanks for looking...

And just for fun-- I did one in B&W--

Suggestions: stain the base with a woodstain, such an Minwax to give a more finished look. The tape off the edges before doing any groundwork. Except in very specific and rare cases, yhou want your groundwork to end at the edge of the base before any beveling and you don't want it to look like you dribbled groundwork over the edge.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

The little bits of snow stuck here and there in the tracks/wheels looks superb and gives some nice realism.

Looks great! What did you use for snow? I'm planning a salt flat dio in the future and that looks spot on.

Thanks for the good advice ajlafleche-- as I said, this is my first one-- so I have lots to learn.  I can sand off the edges easily enough and make it look as you say.

Mike-- appreciate the comments.  The stuff in the tracks and road wheels is a mix of microballoons and Future...

Jantrix-- I used Woodland Scenics snow from their shaker jar-- works pretty sweet!
