Unless you're realy good at scuplting, I'd go with Manny's suggestion. Further, you're going to need a decent anmount of distance between your tank and the wall te get a realisic separation.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

SMJ  you could try this; Take a flat piece of wood or poster board and using florist foam, the green stuff that they use to stick fake flowers in, carve it to the shape that you want and glue it to the wood or p-board.Coat with some spackeling plaster and sand to shape attach it to the back of your base then paint and weather. This would give you a kinda three dimensional backdrop for you Panther.

Very ambitious plan...or you could do a shadow box and use a pic (or smaller scale replica of the colosseum) to "force" the perspective...

Or get "fishtank" ruins Wink [;)]

Rome Colosseum Dio' for Urban Armor GB

Guys:  I'll be doing a dio' for my Panther A with the Rome Colosseum as the backdrop.  I will be replicating the ground floor arches.  I will probably build one full arch and a portion of another.  Heres what I'll be attempting.

Ground floor

I'm not sure if I will do the gate, I don't even think it was there during the War.  Here's the Panther in context as my inspriration:

I haven't started the kit yet, but I'm on a hunt for materials for the colosseum and hope to start soon.

I plan to use styrofoam to make the right shape, then cover it wth a real thin coat of plaster...add details, etc...Any suggestions dio' experts?
