                        Hello everyone! 

                        First post here so I thought I would start by introducing myself and my work at the same time.  Aviation enthusiast, hobbyist and history buff. I've been building kits since I was a child off and on throughout the years and recently decided to begin sharing my work on Instagram, displaying both the build process and finished product. Just yesterday a very cool fellow builder mentioned this site to me and recommended I join. 

                        So here I am!

                        Below is the start to finish for the Revell 1/32 Bf-109G10 marked up with the Erich Hartmann scheme. No aftermarket parts, straight build right from the box!   Hope you enjoy :)  Comments, feedback and suggestions for future projects are always welcome!

                        What a great build!!!!!!!!!!!

                        It is so appreciated that folks such as your share how you make these builds. For me Getting a grip on the German and Italian mottling technique would be such a great accomplishment.

                        Ther work I see on this on other Forums is very inspiring. E. Hartmann has always been one of my favorite pilots. I read his auto when I was in college and what a man he was. When I was an exchange student in Germany I had a chance to meet him but was unable to attend the get together and man have I always regretted it.

                        Thanks a bunch for the complements and that really cool story. Youre very lucky to have had the pleasure and honor of meeting him.

                        As for the mottling technique, its just a matter of practice and experimentation till you get it down.  If you have an airbrush I would suggest thinner paint at a low PSI. Work out a layering technique. Send me a message if you have any questions. :)

                        I just received an airbrush in the mail from England great price and recommended by a bunch of the model airplane builers on You-tube.

                        In fact I plan to start this upcoming weekend as my son has a bunch of model a/c he built but didn't paint yet.
