                        On the top of my favorite models are racing planes from the 30's era. You know, the classics like the GeeBee (Z is the coolest) the Wedel Williams, Bulldog, Submarine etc...

                        Any of you guys do those? I find that the Williams Bros. have a few wonderful models, and testors has thrown a few into the mix. I think I got inspired from the disney movie the rocketeer. Man I wanted a Gee Bee Z so bad....young...so many dreams....Blush [:I]

                        Lemme know, we could trade info, sources etc.

                        I've built all the old Hawk/Testors racers, a few of the Williams Bros. kits, and the few Monogram 1/72 racing kits from the 70's. Right now I'm looking at the High Planes racers for potential future projects.

                        I have a Caudron Racer from William Bros just about completed (though it's been in that state for about 26 months..!). Did build the old Airfix and Frog S.6B and a couple of other racing planes in my career. What sort of info are you looking for?
