I have just finished the Academy 117 in 1/48 and it is a quick build but is very detailed and looks great.
I left the bay doors open and retracted one of the LGB's inwards - I dont know if it is correct but again it looks good.
I sprayed it with spray cans, after masking really well and it only took me the best part of 2 days to complete the build, but I have to locate the Toxic Avenger decal sheet to really finish it off (knowing my build atea, it could be anywhere!)

Italeri has released a 1/32 scale Nighthawk, but from what I've heard, it's pretty innacurate, and may be the same kit as the Testors.

Good luck!

Nuts...figured that for some reason. Ok, well...who makes one in 1/32 besides Testors? It needs to be that scale as that's the scale the scheme package is in.

Hey Bones;
I've built the Testors F-117 in both 1/48 & 1/72 scales and found that they are really off the mark, the weapons bay doors open to the center line but theirs open out to the wings and they really don't have any detail, same with the cockpits very sparse in detail, if I'd where you I'd spent the cash on the Tamiya or Revellograms

How good/bad is this kit guys? I've had this kit for years but ran accross a scheme for it I wouldn't mind trying . Is it worth it?
