Well the price is O.K, and the kit has been given the thumbs up since it came out in 1993, its based on a 1980 mold that replaced an ancient Airfix Lancaster from the 50's, theres various issues - B1, B1 special, B3 or B3 special, all based on the origonal release so you'll find a few unused parts for the spares box too ! mine was built OOB but i'm sure detail sets are out there .........

Wandering the stores here in Iran and found this kit 1/72 Airfix Lancaster BIII Dambuster " premier collection" kit 98004 comes with 4 cans humbrol paint 1 brush and glue. Something to build when i come back in January.
Two questions.
paid 29 US for it - how is that price - the guy has lots of models- ships planes ect mostly Airfix.
Unfortunatey no spray paint or other stuff available and can't carry paint back as baggage.
Plan to bring back stuff to finish it -42 days should let me complete it if I stay off the computer.
Anybody got suggestions for a good photoetch kit to use - it will be my first attempt at photoetched parts.
Cheers
