EMERGENCY need a replacement part
Posted by stram8777 on Sunday, November 23, 2003 11:53 AM
I am currently building a republic p-47d-30 thunderbolt it is made by Revell (Germany?) and it is 1:72 scale. Point is I misplaced the tail wheel and since this kit can be built in either gear up or gear down styles i was hoping someone might have this replacement part or even something similar in their extras box. I will glady pay for it and the shipping. Hopefully someone can help me out.

thanks
Bob

Since it's a revell kit you can get the part directly from them.

They do charge for spares but they deliver very fast.

Will i still be able to request a part even though it is a revell germany kit? On the order form it asks for a 4 digit kit number the kit i am working on has a 5 digit. i just want to be sure so excuse the silly questions.

thanks

Hey stram,
If anything you could still e-mail them and ask them if they carry any of the revell germany parts. Also you can ask them if they dont, how would you be able to get in contact w/ RG about your situation.
Hope this helps out a bit

Actually, I has a similar problem of losing/never having a part from revell germany kit. If you're in no hurry to get the part, go to www.revell.de and email them explaining that you need an extra part. They didnt even charge me for the replacement part, but it took a couple of weeks to come though
