VA-205 Decals
Posted by Bones-coa on Monday, November 24, 2003 9:36 PM
Guys, my future father-in-law in retired from the Navy but was a wrench on A-6s in VA-205...the "Green Falcons". I have a Revell A-6 in 1/48 that I've had in storage for years. As a present, I was considering building it in VA-205 markings, however, as you can imagine, there is no decal sheet out there.

This may seem like an elementry question, but do I have any options here on getting this? Will any of these companines do custom decal sheets?

Thanks.
Dana

Sigh [sigh] Maybe I should have asked this in the decal forum. Sorry about that.

Microscale has a set out in 1/72, and you may be able to get that enlarged through a printer company. might be worth checking out.

Good luck!

Hmm...I knew those existed for a 1/72 A-7, but I didn't think about getting them enlarged. Would a printer company provide the decal sheets and all?

I know alot of them do custom work, but I'm not sure if they would have the decal sheets or not. My guess would be that you'd have to supply them. Check with your local print shop for details, though.
