1:72 Fw190 series and Ta152 kit reviews

The toolings for the 1/72 Tamiya 190's are fantastic. Those should be your first choice. Hasegawa #2.

I have built the Aoshima and Trimaster kits.
I think the Trimaster was one of the first to come with PE parts as standard (late 80's early 90's).
Both very nice kits.
I havnt come across a T152 that I didnt like.

There is one at the RAF Hendon museum.
I have some photos of it taken two years ago and also with the engine running at st athan in the 1980's. Man that BMW sounded sweet!

Revell do a selection of 190s in 1/72.

Built the A8/11 kit.

Very nice detail, no fit problems.

Only weak point is the canopy, which was a bit lumpy.

Hoefully that was just a one off.

Remember buiding the Hasegawa kits about 15 years ago.

Total no brainer, very easy to build.

OK so we have positive reviews for Hasegewa, Dragon/DML and perhaps Tamiya. Never heard of Aoshima. Will have to learn about them more. Keep the reviews and opinions coming. Thanks

The Ta 152 is a Tri-master/DML/Italeria....eecckk! My image is a Italeria Ta-152.

Most of the 1/72 scale models of these AC came out several years ago so finding workbench reviews will be difficult. From personal experience, I prefer the Hasegawa kits for FW-190-A and D models, although the Tamiya FW-190-A-3 and D-9 kits are also very nice. For the Ta-152, I am only aware of two kits in this scale. The Dragon/DML kit was just re-released. It has good detail but takes a lot of work due to poor fit. The other kit is from Aoshima and is slightly less detailed than the Dragon kit but has better fit. It may be hard to find these days. For super detailing I would go with the Hasegawa and Dragon kits.

Sadly, its hard to find a Ta 152... But sometimes you could find the 1/48 Italeria Ta 152. And its not your best for super-detailing..
