Hi, wroper11
Try the U. S. Air Force Museum web cite. Just put in USAF museum in your search engine, that should get you there. Also US Naval Aviation Museum .

...or try this site
http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/ Smile [:)]

Post a request for information on a specific aircraft with the name of it in the subject line and check back in a day for your answer. Wink [;)]

Please don't take this the wrong way, but you didn't state what type of aircraft, era, nationality, etc. If you're looking for something specific, then start another post with a subject something like "Request for References: German BF-109E". That will ensure that people who may have that information will see your post. The only reason I say this is because there is a lot of activity in the Aircraft forum. To help ensure that your post is read, try to make sure your subject is very clear and concise. If it's vague, people might skip over it to look at something else.

If you're only looking for general references, nothing in particular then you did the right thing and looks like you have quite a few sites to look through now. Smile [:)]

This here is a way-cool and groovy site for WWII stuff. Cool [8D]

Here you'll find many old friends and standards as well as lotsa original photos that won't be found in any book. This is a paid-members-only site, however. If you have a photo or two to donate for use on the site, membership is free. Big Smile [:D]
