it sounds like Revell are doing what hasigawa did by makeing you buy there bombs and missle sets

If you can find one, get the 1/48 Monogram Pro Modeler kit. It's basically the Revell kit but comes complete with underwing ordinance.

you forget Revel and monogram are the same company but the reviews do say the 1/48th scale F-15E doesnt have ordinance but it does have the racks and sidewinder rails according to the pictures i saw so if you want ordinance i suggest getting the Hasegawa weapons sets such as the Air to Air missile set which has various missiles and gunpods and also the Air to ground ordinance set which has various bombs

That is the kit I am building right now and as Mikeym_us said it does have all the rails as well as the two 610 gal tanks and AIM-9 Sidewinders.
I went and bought the Hasegawa Weapons set D which contains GBU-10's, GBU-12's, etc and am using them along with some standard Mk 82's from the Hasegawa Weapons set A. I also wanted AIM-120's on it so I ordered the resin SOL corporation's AIM-120 set from Squadron.
There is no 1/48 GBU-28 "Bunker Buster" as far as I know at this time. I had heard that someone was making one but I don't know if they still do.

I know that Revell & Monogram are the same company but you obviously haven't seen the Promodeler kit. It comes with AIM-9M & AIM-102A AMRAAM Missles & GBU-15 Guided Bombs & GBU-10 Bombs. Also, all the rails & pylons. Don't be so quick to dismiss advice from other posts unless you have first hand knowledge of what you speak.

I am not sure Rick, but I don't think that kit is the same tooling is it?
All of the good reviews of the Revell/Monogram F-15E's I have seen have been the Revell kit I have and the Revell Germany kit. I could be wrong.
He wanted a Bunker Buster also which is not included in that kit.

Mike, the original release from Monogram was pure vanilla as far as ordinance goes. Revell-Germany followed with their release which was identical to the first Monogram release except, I think, the decal markings. A year or so later Monogram reissued the kit under the Promodeler label and it includes the ordinance I listed in the earlier post. It was a fairly short run and is now hard to find. The ordinance is very well molded, much better than the Hasegawa weapon kit moldings. I own the kit, haven't built it, but it definitely has the ordinance mentioned. It is otherwise identical to the original release, definitely from the same tooling except for the added sprue for ordinance.

So what is the difference in the Revell Germany kit and the standard Revell kit that I have? Is my kit the same as the Monogram one you mentioned?

Mike, I think there are differences in the decal markings provided and some differences in the instruction layouts, but the plastic is the same in all releases. Actually Revell & Revell-Germany are one & the same. All of the original reviews of the Monogram/Revell F-15E mentioned the lack of ordinance and few were updated to reflect the Promodeler release.

Rick was right about the Monogram Pro Modeler F-15 E. I passed up a chance a one a few years ago. Don't forget Hasegawa was one othe first to put out kits without the weapons loads. You had to buy their Weapson Kits to really dress up thier kits.

It's gotten to be a joke to see all the Posts about a "Revell" kit when it is nothing more than a reboxed Monogram Kit. Some of the new ones are "generic" and end up one each in Monogram or Revell box with some slight difference or just a decal change. Now Monogram boxes up old Hawsega kits. At least they don't put Revell kits in Monogarm boxes! I'm to the point I'll buy something only after I've seen what's in the box! Tamiya is the exception to the rule!

Mel, you are right on. So many manufacturers are re-boxing older kits from other manufacturers and trying to promote them as new, you really have to be careful before you buy. Revell & Monogram are, or were, owned by the same Co. so they kinda had an excuse. Monogram's been sold so many times in the last few years I've lost track of who actually controls them today. Problem with Hasegawa and their weapon kits is that they are OOP a lot of times and they haven't updated them in ages.
