I understand it's a good fit. I'm currently working on a YB-40 conversion using the Paragon 1/72 conversion kit. I'm very pleased with the fit of the pieces.

Considering how the Paragon E conversion is going (I'm working on that one right now) I would not hesitate to purchase the SB kit. If you are into search and rescue aircraft it should make a nice kit. You may have to make some minor adjustments but for the most part I would expect a good fit.

B-17 conversion with Paragon kit
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 29, 2003 3:26 PM
I would like to ask if anyone has used the following Paragon Design B-17 conversion kit?
4806 B-17H/SB-17G Conversion Kit
I know the 4851 B-17E kit has been reviewed on a few web sires. I can't find any info on this kit which is still available from Great Models web store.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Ron
