                        Hobbycraft has one in 1/48th scale. Saw it tonight in Hobby Lobby. Don't know what the arresting gear arrangement looks like though.

                        Grand Phoenix recently announced they are going to rebox the 1/48 Airfix Seafire complete with an Aires detail set and Aeromaster decals. Supposed to be released first quarter 2004. Might be worth waiting for.

                        It's also availible through Greatmodels.com - they also list quite a few accessory kits for it. You will want to get a replacement canopy for sure.

                        that Airfix FR46/7 is a beauty. it is currently showing 'out of on line stock' on the Airfix website, but is still available on www.hannants.co.uk for £15.99

                        Airfix has got one in 1/48. Plenty of accessories on the market. Do a search on Hannants with Seafire as a keyword to know what's available!

                        where do I get a seafire kit

                        Can any body tell me if a spitfire can substitute for a seafire .F47 ? I've
                        tried so many sites, but to no avail. Is'nt the seafire the navy's version of
                        the spitfire?
