PBY Catalina.

It has a majestic look with that broad wing parasol wing, big tail, boat-like fuselage and a slowly, stately cruising speed -and even though my dad wasn't a pilot, it was he first plane he ever flew in.

The Phabulous Phantastic F-4 Phantom. I have had the Phantom Phever since being a Phormer Phantom Phixer. The aircraft is so ugly it is beautiful.

Mike

Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

kind of a tossup between the F4F, F4U, F3H, S2F, and of course, the B-17

If I had to choose one, I'd probably choose the F4F

I was lucky enough to sit in a fully restored FG-1D Corsair last summer. Never felt anything that felt so right. I love that airplane. I've been lucky enough to get to know some guys that flew it. It was a love affair with them. No doubt about it.

The B-36, man! HUGE airplane, 10 engines, 16 20 mm cannons, and in the (not exact) words of the Comic Book Guy on the Simpsons, "Biggest bomb load ever!" Can't get no sweeter.

A-1 Skyraider!!!! Same bomb load as a B-17, but just 1 engine!!!! B-17 was a good one too. My 2 cents [2c]
Randie [C):-)]Agape Models Without them? The men on the ground would have to work a lot harder. You can help. Please keep 'em flying! http://www.airtanker.com/
