Check out your markings you may want to use aftermarket markings. There are a lot to choose from. Good Luck. Try the Hasegawa Cat next time it is a lot harder but much nicer.

For consoles, I've found it to be much easier to paint your base color first, then drybrush the raised areas. It's an awful lot easier than doing it the other way around...

i am just getting started on a 1/48 f 14 . i went to a walk around site but i cant quit tell what color to use on the larger areas in the cock pit .also when detailing consoles, do you paint dark colorsfirst then dry brush raised areas or someone lead me to the promise land. i'm sure i'll be back a lot first jet i am doing thanks bkid
