inside of a canopy
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, December 11, 2003 10:31 AM
Ok my friends.Painting a canopy seems easy.A fine masking with Tamiya tape and some maskol works fine and we do the hole painting with our airbrush. But what about the inside of the canopy?Brushes just won't do.We just can't succeed those fine lines we do when we paint with airbrush. So,any ideas for the inside painting of a canopy?

don't paint inside the canopy. Paint the inside color on the outside first, then paint the exterior colors over that.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Flat black decals, cut to size. It takes some trial and error and the decal can be cut with a sharp # 11 blade once it is put in place to trim it to size. It sure beats getting paint all over the canopy and windshield.
