Hobby Shops in the Philippines?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, December 15, 2003 9:23 AM
I have been buying kits since last year at LIL's HOBBY shop at SM megamall or at Glorietta area and Specialty Toys Center (STC) at the Ali Mall Cubao area.

Are there other Hobby shopy located within the areas of Manila, QC, and Makati?

Any info on this inquiry is very much appreciated.

Hey, Buddha! I go to the Lil's in Megamall often as well (actually whenever i'm in megamall)! So, we may have bumped into one another but didn't know it.

Here are some of the ones i know (allan, nkm1416 and Dwight swear by JMN's in Harrison. I've been there once and it was GREAT! and they take credit cards, which is a pain because there is so much i want to buy)

Special Toys in Virramall, Quiapo, Cubao & Festival Mall

Lil'sin Park Square, Makati

JMN's Hobby Shop in Harrison Plaza

Hobbies and Comics in Makati Cinema Square

Accurate Model Works in SM Southmall

Arts supplies stores in Quiapo (plastic sheets, compressed foamboards, foliage, etc...)

More than happy to help out a fellow Filipino! Just post any questions you may have!

Also check out Specialty Toys at SM City North EDSA. It's in the basement and I am not sure if it's still there for I havent been there for over 2 years.

Actually it's close by the basement National Bookstore (They have two in that building). This Specialty Toys Center is also by the food court. I got "turned off" by their name before (how dare them call these toys?!?!?) but I eventually bought a bunch of Academy kits and Gunze Sangyo paint from them. They also have Academy paint which I haven't seen anywhere else. I haven't used them tho.
