I really, really, really need to get this project finished!

It's about 45% done (just got the cockpit painted and the turrent done, not painted. Bomb bay and wings done.

The rest are still in the box though! Sigh, that inverse law is working out for me more than ever, especially now that my 1.5 year old son is up and running! He has a PRECHANT for ruining daddy's "pretty" models, especially planes! This is how my Tamiya's M-1 ended up in PIECES and now is buried in a land fill somewhere! The bed room and now my basement is strictly off limits! Sigh, I need to find some time to do this, and working from 10-2 everyday doesn't help matters either!

thanks.. It isn't a bad build..lots of interior details and PE included in the kit. I like the fact that you can move the wings from the folded to extended positions. Engine has separate rocker covers for each cylinder which the pushrods engage through tiny holes..a little tedious..And, like all trumpeter offerings lately lots of detail but no way to see it. inside the wings are cannons with ammo troughs and blast tubes.Also there are so many engine components hidden behind the cylinder banks, you'll never see them!  That all being said, i enjoyed building it. there are lots of ordnance options from the torpedo to bombs, rockets and even an internal belly tank. All told, it took me about 3 months to complete.

Very nice i like it, i think i must go and get me one of those. How was the build i am not a big Trump fan but i like that plane. once again nice build.
