The He111 is one of my favorite Germany aircraft. I've never seen this version before. What strikes me is the lower gun position which apparently is lowered down during flight. It looks like it would be more at home on a zeppelin! Looks like an interesting project. Keep us updated!

I think the A-10 is a good looking aircraft and many do not, so it works both ways I guess.
