Old snap-together prop plane models...
Posted by TryintoModel on Friday, December 19, 2003 9:49 AM
I remember buying snap-together planes as a kid that were prop planes like a spitfire and such. My 4-year old loves WWII prop planes and has a knack for building things. But all I can find are those Revell Squadron snap-together planes that only come in a few jets and an apache helicoptor. Anyone know where I might find some propellor snap-together kits?

Monogram used to do a few years back. They had a P-51D, P-40, Me-109G, B-25B, and a B-26B. I know that the fighters are no longer in their catalog, but am not sure about the bombers. You might try Ebay and see if you cand find aome of them. Other than that I really can't think of any prop snap together kits.

K, I was able to find some mini-kits from Revell-Germany. I "think" they are snap-together. They are skill level 1. Can someone look at this site and tell me? http://www.revell.de/cgi-bin/kat/katalog.pl?cmd=overview&KOSCHL=09&grp=02&ARARTN=06583&modellsuche=&showall=true&ps_KOSCHL=&SWO=&MAS=&frei=&lang=de&kat=modell&sort=&page=3&mas=

But, still, there are no WWII fighter planes that I can find.
