I just checked their online ad, and it doesn't say anything bout kits 1/2 off?

Is it just a local strore special?

I wondered the same thing, but i checked my local hobby lobby and no half off sale. Luckily, my hobby lobby is less than 3 miles away, so no big deal. Oddly enough, its not exactly local because several people have reported half of sales. Maybe its a hobby lobby consipracy.

I just got back from the one in our town, and they had paper signs all up and down the plastics isle; "1/2 Off All Plastic Models", and the sale ends at 8pm ET tonight.

I got a Hasagawa/Minicraft aviation comemorative kit, which contains four 1/144 models: Boeing 377, Super Cony, DC-3, and a Clipper seaplane.... the kit included the poem: "High Flight" on beautiful parchment paper, and a variety of decal sets for each aircraft... for $13.00!
Approve [^]

Thanks for the heads-up Razor!!

Hey Woody ! Are you building 1/48 now? I didn't see any 1/72 in your list of scored kits.

Hey guys, I started out building 1/48 but my interest in experimental fighters made me switch to 1/72. As for my purchases at Hobby Lobby most will be traded or sold to fuel my budding interest in Star Trek kits. That Do-335A is awful tempting though. . . . .Tongue [:P]

I saw the 1/2 off sale two weeks ago; the online add said 1/3 off, but I was surprised/elated when I saw a sign in the store saying 1/2 off! So, I got that big 1/48 scale B-1B Lancer by Revell of Germany and Academy's 1/35 scale AH-60L DAP Blackhawk. I also saw the 1/32 F-18 by Academy, but I had had my heart set on that B-1B beforehand, and as I only had 80 dollars with me, I couldn't afford both... But, hey, I'm satisfied!

Any Chance I can get someone over in the States to buy me a few kits and ship them to me in Australia, I will pay you through Pay Pal? If so email me and I will get the details of what kits I am after.
Cheers,
Anthony
