The Waldron punch & die sets are pricey. I have seen modelers use sharpened brass tubing (in different sizes) to cut circles on decal sheets & plastic.
Hope this helps.

Waldron makes a micro punch set that you use to punch their line of instrument dials from or any thin material. You can get a set at http://www.greatmodels.com/ just search for waldron and it'll bring up a list of their products.

I've been seing some really nice cockpits and the authers state that they punched the dials from 3dr party add ons or from the kits decals to use in the cockpit. They really look nice. So how does one punch these and what tools are needed. The rest of my kits look fine but I want to make really good cockpits as well. Thanks
